The possibility of seasonal regulation in the export of certain agricultural products has been abolished.

The regulation that authorized the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry to make seasonal arrangements for the export of certain agricultural products, including tomatoes, has been revoked.

The regulation, which was published in the Official Gazette on January 27, 2022, and implemented by the Ministry of Trade, granted the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry the authority to make seasonal arrangements when necessary for the export of products such as beef and lamb meat, poultry meat and offal, potatoes, tomatoes, onions, garlic, beans, eggplant, bell pepper, olives, red lentils, oranges, lemons, watermelons, apples, olive oil and fractions, eggs, and butter.

The said regulation has been repealed by the Ministry of Trade regulation published in today's issue of the Official Gazette.
